Law Society Annual Dinner 2008

The Law Society’s Annual Dinner 2008 will be held on 12th April, 2008 at the Royal Berkshire Hall, Jerudong Polo & Country Club.

The theme of the dinner is “Global Culture“. The idea is to have a rich and colourful night with people dressed in the attire of different cultures/countries to bring an international element to the night.  The programme for the evening includes entertainment based on the theme as well as an attractive lucky draw and a live band.

Tickets are priced at B$45.00 per person and dinner shall be by way of “dome-setting”.  Allocation of seats shall be determined by way of ‘drawing lots’. 

Please let us have your response/bookings together with payment NOT LATER THAN 7th April, 2008.  Kindly ensure that your payment for tickets is forwarded to Miss Jessie Pang.

Report on the South East Asian Young Lawyers’ Convention held in October, 2007

One of our members, Jessie Pang, attended SEAYLC in Kuala Lumpur this October. She has written up an account [report-on-malaysian-law-conference-2007.doc] of what transpired at the conference in the hope that this will inspire more members to attend the next Malaysian National Young Lawyers Conference which will be held in Penang on 18th to 20th January, 2008.   Details of and links relating to the upcoming conference can be found in the said report.
